Anglican Daily Fountain Devotional 18 May 2022 MESSAGE

Today’s passage starts with an exhortation to praise the Lord. The saints are told to sing a new song and His praise in their assembly. Israel is to rejoice in their Maker while the children of Zion are to be joyful in their King. They are to praise the Lord with dance and sing His praises with musical instruments. This they should do because God takes pleasure in His people and gives salvation to the humble.

The children of God are to joyfully sing aloud to Him even on their beds. Christians are to rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4). A beautiful way to show our joy in the Lord is to sing praises or a new song to Him.

Wherever we are whether at home, school, in the church, at work or in the car, we should manifest our rejoicing in the Lord by praising Him. Some persons are too proud to sing or praise the Lord. Are you one of them?

Kindly repent now and learn how to sing praises to God, if you hope to enter Heaven. Express your love for God by singing His praises always. You can even use musical instruments to also sing praises to the Lord

PRAYER: Teach me, O God, to rejoice always and to sing your praises all the days of my life.
