¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

¹⁸ Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

¹⁹ Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

²⁰ But ye have not so learned Christ;

²¹ If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

²² That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

²³ And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

²⁴ And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

MFM Daily Devotional 10 January 2024 MESSAGE

In the last two days, we began to learn how we can have a significantly great year by doing things differently. We looked into our spiritual lives, careers and marriages or relationships, identified the sources of challenges and learnt biblically tested and proven ways to turn a new leaf and get better results. Today, we shall look at our finances, ministry, health, and so on.

Worries in the area of money and finances constitute some of the greatest distractions to many people today. Financial problems often come from ignorance or lack of financial literacy and poor planning. Therefore, my first advice to you is to embrace financial education this year. Give yourself to learning and let financial literacy change your story positively.

Perhaps, you have been wasteful, unable to make money or borrowing. Learn and apply financial principles on earning, budgeting, spending, saving and investment. Also learn how to create extra sources of income. God’s will for you is to lend to nations and not to be a borrower. Also learn how to set financial goals and grow your money or wealth. Cultivate the habits of hard work, prudency and discipline that are essential for achieving the desired turnaround in your finances.

Beloved, do you truly desire that new and greater things begin to happen in your ministerial life? Here are the things you must do differently. First, I advise that you revisit your foundation and ancestry. Do the kind of operation that God instructed Gideon to do. Get rid of the idols and powers of your father’s house. Use the blood of Jesus to purge your foundation and free yourself from the entanglement of evil ancestral powers.

Also, you must be a lover and doer of God’s word. You must be addicted to fasting and praying. You must live an uncompromising life of holiness and righteousness. You must hunger for and acquire the anointing to fulfil your ministry and destiny. You must be baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire. You must love soul winning and be sold out to God. Finally, you must exhibit unwavering faith in God. When you do all these this year, your ministerial destiny will show forth the glory of God.

1. Father, deliver me from ignorance and mistakes that lead to financial crisis, in the name of Jesus.
