A person that is dedicated to God will also enjoy the privilege of access to divine secrets. Heaven will give the person the ability to know what is hidden from others. Our Memory Verse today affirms that the patriarch, Abraham who was dedicated to God and His service, was given the special privilege to know the secrets that were hidden from others.

Similarly, in Psalm 103:7, the Bible says that God made His ways known to Moses and His acts to the children of Israel. God’s ways are mysterious and past finding out, yet Moses had the privilege of knowing them while the Israelites he led did not. He was consecrated and dedicated. The same is true of Job (Job 29:1-4).

A life that is dedicated to the Most Holy God must be holy to relate successfully with Him. Such a life will gain unrestrained access to divine information, mysteries and secrets that others cannot unravel.

In Daniel 2, none of the magicians, sorcerers and the Chaldeans could tell the dream King Nebuchadnezzar had, nor interpret it. The king then decreed that if they would not tell him the dream and the interpretation, he would kill them all and make their houses a dunghill.

The wise men of Babylon told the king, “There is no lord, nor ruler, that asked such things as any magician, or astrologer or magician. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with the flesh.”

Daniel went to the king, required for time to pray and relate to the king, the dream and its interpretation. The king granted his request. Daniel and friends sought God’s face and mercy so that they would not perish with the wise men in Babylon. God revealed the secret to Daniel and his friends, thereby saving their lives and the lives of the wise men of Babylon from the king’s decree of death.

Daniel glorified God before Nebuchadnezzar, telling the heathen king that there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets. The feat earned Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego promotion in Babylon. Such are the wonders and blessings of dedication.

The secret of the Lord is crucial to the success of man. It is the key to mastery and dominion on earth. When you are connected to the secrets of God, you are secured in life, and away from anxieties and worries. It will definitely put you ahead of others!
