Topic: Put On The Whole Armor Of God (II)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Romans 8-10

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:14 –15

MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 59:17
“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head, and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: The greatest weapon against the enemy is forgiveness.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Your life shall not be a prey in the mouth of the enemies, in the name of Jesus

Stand fast in the Lord and in the power of His might. Show that nothing is too hard for Him. Put on the whole armour of God. Do all things through the strength that Christ provides for you. If you continue teachable and advisable, I know nothing shall be able to hurt you. It is important for us to realise that God has divine connections for every one of His people, and those connections come about as we build relationships.

There is a supply of the Spirit of God that is available to every person in the body of Christ. We are all connected to the Head, who is Christ. Through a relationship with Jesus Christ and fellow believers, we will be able to accomplish the full potential that God put within us. United we stand. Spiritual warfare is either won or lost at the place of prayers as you put on the whole armour of God.

Wake up from your slumber or sleep, clean up yourself from all filthiness of the flesh and the spirit by the blood of the Lamb. Climb up into God’s armoury and get armed up for war against the adversary of kingdom advancement. Beloved, did you notice that righteousness featured prominently in our Fire Scripture (Ephesians 6:14) and our Memory Verse for today (Isaiah 59:17)?

Prophet Isaiah painted a clear picture of God as a Man of War and the One who avenges His people. He said that God “put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head, and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.” Similarly Apostle Paul enjoins us to wear the breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvation and others so that we can war a good warfare and advance God’s kingdom on earth successfully.

Are you compliant as a Christian? Is your armour in place and intact? If your answers are in the affirmative, your victory is settled, in Jesus’ name.
