TOPIC: Prayers For The New Year

“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.” – (Psalms 65:11)

READPsalms 65:9-13 (KJV)

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

1. Father, I thank You for the year 2022.

2. Please crown this year with Your goodness, Lord. Let me experience Your goodness every day of this year, Lord. Don’t let any evil come my way at all, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let good success be my portion this year. I want to prosper in everything I do. Whatsoever my hand finds to do according to your will, let it prosper this year, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, right from the beginning of this year until the end, protect me and my loved ones, in Jesus’ name. I will not bury anybody this year, neither will I cry over any member of my family, in Jesus’ name. Take evil far away from us this year, oh Lord, in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, before the end of this year, let me have cause to celebrate, in Jesus’ name. Help me to achieve great things this year. Lord, help me to accomplish with ease those things that had been difficult for me in the past, in the mighty name of Jesus.

6. This year Lord, no matter the state of the economy of my country and indeed, the world, be my Great Provider. I and my family will live in abundance, in the mighty name of Jesus.

7. Year 2022, hear the word of the Lord: You will favour me. You will be better than 2021 for me. You will work for my good. The Lord will promote me this year in the name of Jesus.

8. Lord, please guide me on the right path in this new year. Please don’t let me ever miss the path of righteousness; be my guide all through the year, in Jesus’ name.

9. I decree that this year, I will not spend on sickness, court cases, funeral ceremonies or anything negative. My money is marked for only good things; nothing sorrowful will come my way this year, in the mighty name of Jesus.

10. Father, this year, let me win more souls than ever before. Give me the boldness to preach the gospel and let everyone I preach to accept You as their Lord and Saviour, in Jesus’ name.

11. Father, let my zeal for Your Kingdom increase greatly this year. This year, let me be passionate about advancing Your Kingdom on earth. When You are looking for someone to use, please use me, Lord, in Jesus’ name.

12. Your personal prayer requests.

Genesis 22-24

  1. Standing on the promises of Christ our King,
Thro’ eternal ages let His praises ring:
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, Standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Saviour
Standing, Standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.

2. Standing on the promises that can-not fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail
By the living word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.

3. Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.

4. Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
