Topic: Expect Only Good In Your Life

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17 KJV

It is wrong for a believer to expect the worst in his own life; it’s an insult to the finished work of Christ. Every good and perfect gift comes from your Father. How then will He give you bad gifts? Beloved, you are a child of God. When you expect the wrong things to happen to you, what you are saying in effect is you have more faith in Satan’s activities than in what Jesus has done for you.

God has promised that He will only do you good. “And I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good…” (Jeremiah 32:40 KJV). This is your heritage in Christ! Have expectations of good always! The scripture in Romans 5:20 says that: “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (KJV). What sin did in the life of man brought sickness, pains, lack and disappointment. However, God’s grace, through His son, did a much more superior job. That automatically places you on a superior platform.

Scientists have discovered that when you begin to think and speak good things to yourself, nature and creation will begin to gravitate to you to bring the good things. The Bible says the earth is filled with God’s goodness; so, when next you begin to expect and speak good things to yourself, even when it doesn’t look like it, creation will begin to gravitate to make what you are saying work.

Beloved, expect only good in your life. Even if you failed yesterday, expect that this is another day. Today will be different, customers will come. They will give you the visa you are expecting. You will get the capital you are looking for. The ideas, the connections and the vision helpers will come. Expect good things because you are in Christ. He was slain so that you can receive what you couldn’t receive.
