TOPIC: Unity Of Believers
Read: Ephesians 4:4-6(NKJV)
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in [a]you all.

STUDY: Believers are people who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and have surrendered their lives to Him through repentance. Through this process, they become born again and form the church – the body of Christ. The church, therefore, is made up of people of different nationalities, cultures, languages and colours, with Jesus as the head.
Apostle Paul in today’s text drew the attention of the Ephesian Christians to the need to be united. This unity is based on the truth that they share one body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and one father in common. By implication, every believer is a part of this body and cannot exist and function exclusively. Oftentimes, believers allow minor differences in doctrines and their individualities to work against this unity.
This ought not to be; rather we must work for unity by expressing true love, peace, patience as well as forgiveness. How do you foster the unity of believers in your church or fellowship group? God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one and work in unity to achieve the divine purpose. Let us, therefore, emulate our Father to also achieve this divine mandate.
PRAYER: Lord, please use me to build your Church in unity. Amen.
