MFM Daily Devotional 11 May 2025 Message
Jesus commanded His disciples and all believers today (Matthew 28:19) to do the work of an evangelist. Apostle Paul also told Timothy to “preach the word in and out of season.” That is, at all times and everywhere he finds himself. There is no limit to the preaching in time and space. Little wonder the book of Romans says that the feet of those who preach are beautiful. This is because they carry the good news of salvation, hope, transformation, and restoration, pointing them to eternity at the bosom of the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, for as many that accept Him.
One of the best ways to evangelise is through your lifestyle as a Christian. This is called evangelism without words! That is, you speak few or no words at all, but as the unbelieving person watches you, he or she can see some character traits, attitudes, and behaviours that show that you are a child of God. It also shows that you carry some level of grace and uniqueness that makes you stand out among others and makes you worthy of emulation. This is a powerful tool, selfless and effortless, but effective for winning souls for Christ.

In 1 Peter 3:1-5, Apostle Peter wrote to wives at that period that their unbelieving husbands will come to the knowledge of Christ, not through nagging or quarrels but simply by observing them and truly confirming that they have met with the Lord.
The bottom line is that your life and manner of living witness Christ and preach the message of salvation to others. The question is, how are you living your life? Does it tell about Jesus to others, or does it send them far away from Christ? Does it reflect the light of God in you, or are you in conformity with the world? Do you have the message that will deliver their souls from hell? Are you an asset to heaven or a disgrace? Will people draw closer to Jesus as a result of who you are and how you behave? You must change if you cannot answer these questions in the affirmative. But in case your lifestyle is a tool to win souls, then I say congratulations!

MORNING
- O Lord, make me a carrier of Your message of salvation, in the name of Jesus.
- My feet shall not be ugly but beautiful to be useful for God, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let my life be a model that others will emulate to become Your sons and daughters, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Anything in me posing as a disgrace to heaven, be destroyed now, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, purge my life and let it be consecrated for God now and always, in the name of Jesus.
- I receive the grace and power to bring souls to the kingdom as they behold my lifestyle, in the name of Jesus.
- O God arise, make me a useful tool and a vessel of honour for Your glory, in the name of Jesus.
