MFM Daily Devotional 19 June 2023 MESSAGE
Today, we will round off this discourse by looking at other things that cause defilement. You need to steer clear of all of them. You should not keep company with sinners. If your close friends live in sin and engage in practices that defile the body, you will soon join them. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Be not deceived: evil communication corrupts manners.” Avoid friends and places that are known for bad lifestyles.
Also, you must take a stern and bold decision to stay pure, no matter what might be happening in the world or around you. Joseph knew this. He didn’t wait to plead, negotiate or placate Mrs Potiphar. He fled! Even the Bible counsels us, young and old, ministers and laity, to flee all forms of sexual immorality! Nobody is too spiritual to become a victim. Staying too long in a place of pollution can cause eternal damage.
In addition, you need to choose your exposure to the media carefully and wisely. As humans, what we read. watch and listen to what affects our minds, bodies, souls and spirits positively if they are clean and negatively if they are unclean. It is a known fact that demons gain entry into some lives by reading, watching or listening to materials they thought were harmless. We must be sober and vigilant. We must always watch and pray! I encourage you to go through the list of films, music and novels in your custody. Do a check on TV and radio programmes you love to watch or listen to. Get rid of anyone with ungodly content. Turn that addiction to TV and film to an addiction for God’s word and prayer.
I also counsel you to be mindful of what you eat, where you eat and how you eat. More often than not, people that are not careful about these end up eating at the enemies’ table and get defiled. Beloved be wise!
Do you desire to remain a vessel unto honour for the Lord? Then flee all filthiness of the body, soul and spirit. Seek the cleansing power of God by the blood of Jesus. Desire to feed regularly on the word of God so much that it dwells in you richly and is able to purify your life (Ps.119:9).

MORNING
1. Father, I thank You for the cleansing and purifying power in the blood of Jesus.
2. Agenda of the devil to defile me, be exposed and be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
3. Agents of defilement, your time is up. Die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Satanic instruments of defilement, catch fire and burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.
5. Plantations of darkness in my body, causing pollution, catch fire now, in the name of Jesus.
6. I overcome dream pollution and defilement by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
7. I dedicate my body, soul and spirt to Jesus Christ. Whosoever defiles my body. God will judge and destroy, in the name of Jesus.
