Prayer Points on Open Heaven
Pastor E. A. Adeboye did not write these prayer points, by one of his numerous disciples, for Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, about 5 years ago, (effective January 1st, 2015), to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional, authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
Prayer Points on Open Heaven 2 May 2025
1 Father, I acknowledge that You are the ultimate guide for my life. I recognise that without You, I am lost and prone to wander down wrong paths, in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, You are the divine compass within me. I ask for Your constant leading and direction, ensuring that every step I take aligns with God’s perfect will, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, I pray against any spirit of distraction or deception that would seek to pull me away from Your guidance. Help me to remain focused on Your voice and Your truth, in Jesus’ name.
4. Father, forgive me for the times I have relied on my own understanding or the wisdom of the world, rather than seeking Your counsel. I repent for taking steps without consulting You. (Proverbs 3:5-6), in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, grant me a deep and abiding fear of losing my connection with You. Help me to treasure our relationship above all else and to actively nurture it through prayer, study of Your Word, and obedience, in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, I acknowledge that apart from You, I can do nothing. I pray for a deep and abiding awareness of my dependence on You in every aspect of my life, in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, You are the way, the truth, and the life. I ask for Your guidance to stay on the path You have set for me, resisting distractions and detours, in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, draw me ever closer to the Father. Fill me with a hunger and thirst for His presence, and grant me the grace to prioritize my relationship with Him above all else, in Jesus’ name.

9. Father, forgive me for the times I have drifted away from You. I repent for any idols I have placed before You and ask for Your strength to keep You as the center of my life, in Jesus’ name.
10. Father, grant me discernment to recognize Your voice and Your leading. Help me to distinguish Your will from my own desires or the influence of the world, in Jesus’ name.
11. Father, equip me with the spiritual disciplines necessary to cultivate intimacy with You. Grant me consistency in prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers, in Jesus’ name.
12. Father, strengthen me against the temptations and trials that seek to pull me away from You. Help me to stand firm in my faith and trust in Your unfailing love, in Jesus’ name.

13. Father, I pray for perseverance to stay the course until I reach the destination You have prepared. Help me to run the race of faith with endurance and joy, In Jesus’ name.
14. Father, give me the courage and obedience to walk in the path You have revealed. Remove any fear or hesitation that might prevent me from fully embracing Your purpose for me, In Jesus’ name.
15. Lord, all those who have been rebroadcasting these prayers and declarations, give them the grace to keep up with this good work of Faith, in the name of Jesus.
16. By faith, appreciate God for answered prayers. Your testimonies are undeniable in Jesus’ name.
17. Father, let every challenge, hindrance, and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on a daily basis be removed, in Jesus’ name.
18. Submit yourself and your personal petitions to God. Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
